YUM! Seriously, my mouth in watering.
My Grandma used to make these awesome sandwiches that remind me of this. She made the bread alternating blue and pink and the filling was like a tuna fish, cream cheese thing. I loved it and I have no idea where her recipe would be. Awesome!
Reminds me of the ribbon sandwiches people made in the fifties that I so enjoyed as a child. So very much more wonderful than cake!
